    Community GardenParticipate this summer!
The Crossroads Community Garden is on its second season. With the growing need for food assistance, helping out in the garden is a great way to serve others. There is NO experience needed and EVERYONE is welcome. Come and have fun gardening, building new friendships and learning some new skills. Located on the south side entrance of the North Campus.

So far this summer we have harvested 1,250 servings from the garden (which was the total last year.) We will be planing seeds Monday, August 16 for lettuce and spinach.

You can come by and weed anytime. Otherwise we have two work groups. One on Saturday, 8 am and one on Tues at 8:30 am. We have nursery care (ages 0-4) available on Tues, however you must contact me and request it ahead of time.

     Help with PreschoolersParticipate
Are your kids all grown up? Remember the cute smiles and the way they just crawl up in your lap for a hug.  Remember the way they hold their hands up in the air and want to be picked up?  How many of your kids still do that?  Do you miss it.. even a little? Well, I have a proposition for you. Please think about sharing your love on Sunday mornings with a group of 2's and 3's for one hour. Our church is blessed with a huge number of new parents who need to go to a service and know their tiny ones are being loved and cared for. This is a huge way to serve otters to Jesus.  Please call me and see if you are willing to serve.. Hey..you might even want to do it as a family.  The schedule is very flexible... The rewards are great!

Crossroads Cares Food PantryParticipate, Give & Pray
Crossroads Cares Food Pantry continues to grow. We are now serving, in an average week, 350 families, representing 1300 people in those families. We are struggling to obtain enough food to keep people fed.

We could use additional servant helpers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We do food preparation on Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:30 am, we could use some additional helpers at that time. We are in the process of obtaining a forklift and another truck to haul food. We could use additional funding if anyone would like to serve people towards Jesus by donating to Crossroads Cares Food Pantry.

We still do the church service on Thursday evening at 5:15 pm and we have distributed over 700 bilingual new testaments to our families in the last 6 months. We would be honored to have people put this ministry on their prayer list and pray for us daily.
