We believe that this is a very important time in our children’s lives as their first impressions of God and the church begin to form. We strive to create a loving, positive and secure environment where little ones can come to learn about who God is and His love for us. Crossroads has a wonderful trained staff, committed to Christ and committed to sharing Him with your children.

The following information has been prepared to acquaint you with our nursery guidelines. Your willing cooperation is essential in our efforts to provide meaningful, quality care for your children.

Age Distribution:
Infant Room: Birth to walking
Toddler Room: Walking through 2 yrs (3yrs on Saturday night only)

Nursery Availability and Check in:
Available during all weekend services.
Saturday 6 pm service, North Campus (birth through age 3)
Sunday morning services both Campuses (birth through age 2)

Special Services and Activities:
Nursery care is arranged for special services and activities by the sponsors of the activity based on your RSVP Nurseries are open 15 minutes prior to the start of each event and close 15 minutes after the activity ends. 

Electronic Pagers:
Each child is to be signed in and parents are given an electronic pager. These are used as a security measure when picking up children or promptly after the end of the service. Children will NOT be released to anyone without the return of the electronic pager. Children will not be released to anyone under the age of twelve (12) even if they have the pager. NO EXCEPTIONS.

What to Bring:
Pacifier, bottles, at least 2 diapers and change of clothes. Please label everything your child brings to the nursery. Diaper bag ID tags are available for $1.00 at the nursery.

What NOT to Bring:
Extra food, gum, candy or toys from home. Nursery workers will not feed meals or give prescribed or over-the-counter medicines. Crackers and water are provided with parent permission only.

Nursing Room:
South Campus only: This room is available around the corner from the infant nursery. If it is busy, please use the Bridal room next to the Women’s restroom by the Sanctuary.

Diaper Changing Table:
Changing tables are available at both campuses for little ones not checked into the nursery.
South Campus location: Bridal room behind the bathrooms in the SW corner.
North Campus location: Main floor restroom by the worship center.

Health Precautions:
Parents are requested not to bring a child who appears ill. Fever, diarrhea, red or puffy watery eyes, runny nose and irritability are all signs something is not quite right. Nursery staff will return children who are possibly ill to their parents. We will accept a child who has been on prescribed antibiotics for 24 hours, provided they are feeling well enough to stay.

Safety Precautions:
Parents are not allowed in the nursery at any time. Please do not ask to enter the nursery to change a diaper or for any other reason. This is a security measure for all children in the nursery and not meant to offend anyone. Nursery workers will not allow any person other than nursery staff to enter the rooms. Please honor this policy for the safety of all children being cared for by our nursery staff at both campuses. Toys and baby furniture in both rooms are sterilized routinely. All workers are CPR certified and trained in child safety.
