Our Purpose
Supporting Crossroads Church's mission by connecting men for encouraging, equipping and supporting one another to be men of God, living in a manner worthy of the gospel of Jesus, rightly handling Biblical truth and serving others toward Jesus.
Our Vision
Guys in discipling relationships, living exciting, challenging and purposeful lives, favorably impacting their family, neighbor, community and world - guys in the game; not on the bench; guys on the street for Jesus.
Our Strategy
Connecting men through action - serving and enjoying; studying and praying.
• Loving God through Spiritual Growth
• Loving your Neighbor through Responsible Service
• Encouraging one another through Biblical Friendships
• Protecting hearts through Mutual Accountability
Spiritual Growth: Crossroads' men meet for Bible study on various days and times. Check out one or more that fits your needs and schedule. Can't find one? Get one started with guys of like needs and schedules, perhaps early morning in a local coffee shop. Need literature, some guidance? Contact Pastors John or Bruce. .....
Responsible Service: We take seriously the admonitions of Jesus to love our neighbors and to serve the least of these; to love justice and do mercy; and that true religion includes caring for orphans and widows. Check out GoServe as well as the service opportunities shown in Services. Got a community service idea where men could make a difference? Pastor John would love to discuss it with you.
Biblical Friendships: We provide and support activities for guys who are passionate for God and for guys curious about life with Christ. We want to see guys walking together to know Christ better. In addition to doing guy things with one another and family, we design our activities with a service component in mind. We want to share our blessings with those less advantaged.
Mutual Accountability: We all need someone(s) we can trust and confide in; someone(s) willing to hold up a mirror and speak truth because they care. We believe that men best connect for accountability through the avenues of participating in guy activities, serving together and meeting to study God's Word. As new relationships are developed and old are strengthened - recognizing that three cords are stronger than one - men are encouraged to form bonds for accountability and spiritual growth. Having trouble making the right connection? Talk to your anchor group leader or Bible study leader, Pastor John or others on the leadership team. Don't really know any? Introduce yourself - we would all like that.
