Collecting Food for Families in Need

With the government shutdown, one of the things that's being stretched the most is local area food banks. We have seen this where the food banks are at their very capacity and are reaching their limits of being able to serve people who are in need. And so, as a church, we want to come in and help where we can.
First and foremost because of the generosity of this church, we made donations this week to four area food banks so that they can go out and purchase the food and the supplies that they need to help those in need.
Also, we are coming alongside our long-time partner, the North Denver Cares food bank. We are collecting: canned fruit, canned veggies, white rice, peanut butter, and mac and cheese.
Drop donations at church on Sunday or at the Crossroads Community Center, 10451 Huron St, Northglenn, Mon-Thur 9am-4pm.
Santa Shop-Gifts Due

GIVE A GIFT TO A CHILD IN NEED:
If you selected a wishlist tag off the tree in the Crossroads Church lobby for a local child, shop from their list & bring the unwrapped gift(s) back by Sunday, November 23. The deadline has been extended and this week you can still pick a wishlist tag to fulfill.
This holiday season, we have the privilege of supporting local families in our community who are experiencing hardship. By partnering with Joyful Journeys’ Santa Shop, we have the opportunity to provide a complete Christmas, from toys and clothes to a full Christmas dinner.

GIVE YOUR TIME AND VOLUNTEER:
Come to the Crossroads Community Center during the first two weeks in December and help at the Santa Shop with set up, alphabetizing gifts, hanging clothes, being a greeter, personal shopper or gift wrapper and more!
