Keeping You in the Loop #46

St. Anthony Outreach, Business Meeting, Vaccines and More!

by Pastor Matt Manning on January 21, 2021

Hello Crossroads!

God has opened a totally cool opportunity for us to love our neighbors! St. Anthony North on 144th has reached out and asked if we would provide care for their medical community during this COVID crisis. Of course, we said yes! Our goal is to provide short-term care for the next five months by not only addressing the physical and emotional needs of the health-workers, but also to engage them spiritually. Here is the upcoming plan and we will keep you updated on how you can participate:

  • January: Survival Kits for Caregivers
  • February: Share the Love - Handwritten cards from Crossroads Church and the community. We are going to include gift cards from Chipotle and Qdoba. Nothing speaks of love like Mexican food!
  • March: TBA
  • April: Self-Care techniques: Donate art supplies and personalized journals
  • May: Tailgate Bombers and BBQ - We have partnered with Blessed BBQ to provide an awesome meal for the hospital shifts.

BUSINESS MEETING
Our second-quarter business meeting is happening on Sunday, January 31 at 2:30 pm. The meeting will be about 90-minutes long, and it will be virtual on Crossroadsabc.live. The planned agenda is:

  • Voting on the 2021 members of the Trustees
  • Voting on the 6-month budget

  • Sharing how we are measuring the Vision to know if we are succeeding
Consulting wrap up with The Unstuck Group

If you have any questions that you would like to submit ahead of the business meeting, you can send them to with the subject line: Business Meeting.

Here are other business items you will need to know about:

  1. Quarterly Ministry Business Report
  2. Church Financials
  3. View your personal giving statement on My Crossroads Community (MyCC).
  4. Update your contact/church profile info.
Please take a moment to fill this out so we can better serve and connect with you.

VACCINES
We have received a lot of theological questions about the COVID vaccines, and specifically if it is what the Bible calls, The Mark of the Beast. This is a great worldview question. We wrote a short theological paper addressing this issue. If you're interested, you can check it out here.

PRACTICAL LIVING
If you haven't caught the new Crossroads Original Series, Practical Living, you should check it out! We know that sometimes it's hard to see the good in the world around us, but we do not want to live there. We believe there are people in this world who are ready to share their stories and skills with those who are ready to listen. We want to meet these people, learn from them, and take what we learn to live better. This is what Practical Living is all about! Our first stop was in Fort Lupton, CO where we meet Walter Seegrist; better known to some as the @theweldprofessor.

If you haven't checked it out, it's well worth your time. Also, we would love for you to share it! We believe this is an easy, non-threatening way, through great storytelling, for us to share the good news of Jesus with the world.

You can see the first episode here. A new episode will arrive every three months.

GENEROSITY
If you want to be a part of the mission of Crossroads through financial support, you can give in three ways:

  1. Crossroadsabc.com/give/

  2. If you prefer to give by check:
Crossroads Church, 10451 Huron St, Northglenn, Colorado 80234
  3. Or you can text 'crossroadsabc' to 77977 for instructions on how to set up a gift.

It's simple, yet significant!

LIVE WORSHIP
We love worshipping together! You can join in two ways: in-house and online.

For our in-house worship, we have opened up more seats at both our locations. If you'd like to join us in-house, please:

Pre-register at Crossroadsabc.com/rsvp

Masks will be required for all people of all ages at our facilities, at all times. We are choosing to go above and beyond in order that we might love the vulnerable in our faith community well. Inside the worship spaces, we ask that you socially distance. If you are not feeling well, please stay at home.

Online we live stream every week at Crossroadsabc.live, Facebook, and YouTube. Services are 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 6pm. If you can't catch one of those service times. We are on-demand throughout the week on our YouTube channel.
