Income taxes prepared for free by IRS Certified volunteers for incomes lower than $65,000.
FIRST COME – FIRST SERVED NO APPOINTMENTS
What to Bring:
- SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number documents FOR EVERYONE LISTED ON YOUR RETURN;
- Photo identification for you and your spouse (if filing joint return);
- All W2’s for wages from each employer;
- 1098 for education loan interest or tuition credits;
- Form 1099s from banks, issuing agencies and other payers including unemployment compensation, dividends, distributions from a pension, annuity or retirement plan;
- Form 1099-K, 1099-MISC, W-2 or other income statements for workers in the gig economy;
- For direct deposit of refund or automatic withdrawal if you owe tax, bring proof of account such as a check;
- Birth dates for you, your spouse, and all dependents; and
- Total paid to daycare providers, the providers’ address, and tax ID number.
- 2024 Income Tax Return.
The certified preparers will NOT prepare your returns if you have:
- Schedule C with a business loss, depreciation, or business use of home;
- Rental Income from depreciable assets;
- Farm Income;
- Complicated Schedule D (capital gains and losses)
- If you engaged in any transaction involving virtual currency; or
- An energy credit for an electric motor vehicle or Solar Electric
