Associate Pastor of Care
Overview:
Crossroads Church is a thriving church in the northern suburbs of Denver Colorado. We have a long history of Biblically and theologically sound leadership and ministry, and are looking to add a position to our amazing staff! This position of Associate Pastor of Care will join the Pastoral Care Team and work alongside the other pastors to offer leadership and support to the systems, volunteers and people of Crossroads Church.
Key Responsibilities

- Pastoral Care to Congregation:
- Counseling: Manage a team of pastors and qualified volunteers to provide pastoral counseling for congregation when a spiritual care need arises. (include marriage, newlyweds, bereavement/grief, etc)
- Funeral Care: Oversee process and structure of death/bereavement/grief services, and participate in officiating when needed. Manage a team of high level volunteers to execute funeral structure as needed
- Stephen Ministry: Oversee process and structure of Stephen Ministry by managing a team of high level volunteers.
- Celebrate Recovery: Lead, equip and resource volunteer leaders.
- Benevolence: Oversee the process and teams dedicated to receiving and granting benevolence requests for church members who have verifiable financial needs
- Visitation: oversee the process and teams dedicated to administering hospital visits and elderly care
- Pastoral Care to Staff:
- Act as a chaplain and resource to staff in need of pastoral care.
- Provide necessary training as pertains to care of the congregation.
- Act as liaison between ministries to provide insights for congregational care.
- Weekend Services:
- Be a pastoral presence within the structure of our weekend service.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous pastoral experience
- Proven track record of leadership, pastoral care, team building, engaging culture
- Strong people skills. Ability to interact with diverse people groups
(diversity in belief, age, income, ethnic background etc.) - Effective communicator in verbal, written and digital contexts
- Ability to think through critical issues and develop a plan of action
- Must be passionate about the local church and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must be creative, innovative and strategic thinker
- Result-driven team player
- Must be a firmly grounded Christian whose life is modeled by solid commitment to Jesus Christ.
- Must be committed to the mission and vision God has given Crossroads Church.
Relationships:
- The Pastoral Care assistant reports directly to the Pastor of Care and Discipleship
- Work within the larger Care and Spiritual growth team
- Will be a staff member working with the entire Crossroads staff to carry out the mission/vision God has given us.
Time Commitment:
30-40 Hours
Salary Range:
50-60K

Creative Media Intern
The Creative Media Intern at Crossroads creates welcoming, invitational social media content and campaigns to invite the digital community into what God is doing at Crossroads. Through real stories and moments, this role helps people feel connected and encouraged to take their next step.
Position Type: Internship (Part-time)
Reports To: Connections Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media:
- Create, schedule, and publish weekly content (x3-5/week) for Crossroads’ social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) using content from:
Weekend Services - Capture photos and short-form video during Sunday services and special events
- Write captions that align with the voice and values of Crossroads
- Help promote upcoming sermon series, special/holiday events, and invites
- Monitor and respond promptly to comments/messages and escalate as needed to staff within 24 hours
- Stay current on social media trends and contribute creative content ideas
- Create, schedule, and publish weekly content (x3-5/week) for Crossroads’ social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) using content from:
- Craft special event newsletters on a quarterly basis
- Schedule and update online live events through our current streaming platforms
- Report basic analytics monthly
- Meet with Connections Director weekly to brainstorm, plan and debrief
- Attend All Staff meetings 2-3 times per month (Tuesdays)

- Should have educational background/experience in:
- Writing and communication skills
- Organization and meeting deadlines
- Experience with tools like Canva, CapCut or Adobe preferred
- Active and confident user of social media platforms preferred: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
- Comfortable using a personal, up-to-date smartphone for content creation and posting.
- Available for in-person services/meetings on Sundays and Tuesdays, Remote work throughout week

Bookkeeper
Overview:
The Bookkeeper helps Crossroads Church make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the church’s finances. They are responsible for daily financial management as well as financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
Core Responsibilities
- Management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable:
- Accounts Payable
- Bills/Invoices
- Recurring payments
- Customer service - supporting vendors
- Accounts Receivable
- Weekly Contributions
- Customer service - supporting congregation, partners, and leases with financial information as needed
- Manage Annual contribution statements
- Payroll
- Bimonthly payroll
- Calculating and processing employee wages, including deductions for taxes and other withholdings
- Adjustments to system for current, new and exiting employees
- Systems Management
- Reconciling of Accounts: Matching bank statements with accounting records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Generating financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Generate financial reports for quarterly business meetings and year end financials
- Forms management: Provide ledger information for applicable ministries
- HR & Other
- Retirement payment and adjustments
- Manage Employee Insurance premiums (Kaiser, Guardian and Delta)
- Manage church insurance premiums
- Assisting with Tax preparation
