Land-Use

God calls us to use our resources wisely. Crossroads has 4.92 acres to the north of unused land. Since 2014, we have felt called to make this space available to those who need it in our community.

We have partnered with Archway Communities, a non-profit affordable housing developer, who is in the process of buying the land for $1.9 million to build a 100 unit complex for affordable housing.

  • Archway has been a key developer of affordable housing in Colorado for over five decades. With a long-standing commitment to addressing the housing needs of low-to moderate-income residents, Archway currently provides affordable homes to more than 1,700 individuals. These homes primarily serve households earning 60% or less of the area median income, including essential community members such as service industry workers, teachers, and veterans.

  • Looking ahead, Archway is partnering with Crossroads to design a new affordable housing complex that will further expand access to secure and stable housing. This collaborative effort aims to create a thoughtfully planned and well-managed community that meets the needs of individuals and families struggling to find affordable housing options. Once construction is completed, Archway will retain ownership and oversee management of the property, ensuring long-term affordability and high standards of living for its residents. If the project progresses as planned, the first residents are expected to begin moving in by 2030.

  • This initiative reflects Archway's ongoing mission to provide safe, affordable housing solutions and contribute to the stability and wellbeing of Colorado communities through strategic development and enduring stewardship in partnership with Crossroads.
