MY STORY | Vulnerability
Describe the healthiest relationship in your life. Does that person know everything there is to know about you? [Probably not]. How then can you still have a dynamic, meaningful, and satisfying relationship with that individual?

DIGGING DEEPER | Practical Biblical Application
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

React to the following statement:

“God sees what I cannot see. God knows how my decisions, words, and actions will impact people I will never meet. God is sovereign over thousands of variables that are beyond my capacity to comprehend.”

What comfort can we take in knowing that God is so much bigger that our minds can grasp?

In what ways would believing this cultivate a deep sense of humility in our souls?

Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

How can a vibrant relationship with God be more satisfying than wisdom, power, and wealth?

Why would understanding and knowing God bring Him delight? Why should we care about what makes God happy?
