GROUP DISCUSSION
1. Open with prayer (2-5 min).
2. Share your story ... If you were to invite a group of believers to pray for one of your neighbors, what would you ask? (7-10 min).
3. Read Acts 4:23-31
4. Discuss these questions with your group (20-45 min).

Looking back at your notes from this week's message, was there anything you heard for the first time, stuck with you, challenged or confused you?

When they were released, they went to their friends and reported what the chief priests and the elders had said to them. And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God … (Acts 4:23-24)

How does praying on your own feel different for you than praying with a group of other believers?

Why does God want us to pray together?

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)

How does praying change you (or the group with whom you're praying), no matter how God responds to your requests?

PLAN OF ACTION
Schedule a prayer time this week with another believer—be sure to include something that's humanly impossible (that's also God-honoring) in your requests.

What is the one important thing you will take away from this weekend's message or our community group discussion? Is there any challenge, difficulty or praise that you would like to share with the group for prayer?
