GROUP DISCUSSION
1. Open with prayer. (2-5 min)
2. Share your story:
Tell us about the best doctor you ever had in your life. What did that physician do for you? (7-10 min).
3. Read Mark 2:13-17
4. Discuss these questions with your group. (20-45 min)

Looking back at your notes from this week’s message, was there anything you heard for the first time, stuck with you, challenged or confused you?

And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. (Mark 2:14)

If you are a believer, how is your life different because you’ve accepted Jesus’ invitation to follow Him? What did you need to give up in order to follow Jesus?

How would your life be different today if you had turned down that invitation?

When Jesus heard [the judging Pharisees], he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Mark 2:17)

With whom are you least likely to share a meal? Is it because you’d be excluded or the other way around?

How is the Holy Spirit likely to use you in bringing motivated people to saving faith in Christ?

LIVING IN 4D
There were people with whom Jesus spent time that made religious people question His judgment and integrity.

Is there a group of people you spend time with, or would like to hang out with, for which you’d be judged by other Christians?

What is the one important thing you will take away from this weekend’s message or our community group discussion? Is there any challenge, difficulty or praise that you would like to share with the group for prayer?
