Keeping You in the Loop #45

New Website, Practical Living, and Baptisms!

by Pastor Matt Manning on January 14, 2021

Hello Crossroads!

If you have visited Crossroadsabc.com recently, then you have undoubtedly noticed that we have made some changes! This week we rolled out a brand new website designed with you in mind.

Over the last six months, our team has worked hard at creating a website that is modern-looking, easy to navigate, accessible to the things most people are looking for, and clear about our vision as a church. We have made it super-easy for you to register for services, catch the latest sermon, or see what's happening with kids, students, and community groups. We even have a cool feature called the Church Hub where you can find notes from me, church business, weekly discussion guides, etc.

As we roll this out, we know that there will be questions, and you might even find a bug or two. If either of these things happen to you, you can simply send us an e-mail to and we will get on it. We hope you enjoy the new look!

On Sunday, we dropped our first Crossroads Original Series–Practical Living. We know that sometimes it's hard to see the good in the world around us, but we do not want to live there. We believe there are people in this world who are ready to share their stories and skills with those who are ready to listen. We want to meet these people, learn from them, and take what we learn to live better. This is what Practical Living is all about! Our first stop was in Fort Lupton, CO where we meet Walter Seegrist—better known to some as the @theweldprofessor.

If you haven't checked it out, the show is well worth your time. Also, we would love for you to share it! We believe this is an easy, non-threatening way, through great storytelling, for us to share the good news of Jesus with the world.

You can see the first episode here. A new episode will arrive every three months.

As I announced last week, baptisms are back! One of the goals that we have with our new vision is to see people come to Jesus and share that faith through baptism. Baptism is the beautiful picture of an inward reality (salvation) demonstrated in an outward way. It is the story of the way God works in us! If you want to be baptized, we would love to come alongside you! You can fill out this form and you will be contacted by Doug Schmidt. He will walk you through what baptism is, the importance of sharing your faith story, and how we are doing baptisms in a safe way during this season.

In 2020, because of your amazing generosity, we were able to give away over $150,000 to families in need, as well as organizations locally and around the world. In 2021, we intended to keep that train rolling! This week, we made a donation of $2,500 to our partners at Weld County Food Bank. Since 2012, we have worked together to provide assistance for those in need within the Ft. Lupton Community.

If you want to be a part of the mission of Crossroads through financial support, you can give in three ways:

  1. Crossroadsabc.com/give/

  2. If you prefer to give by check:
Crossroads Church, 10451 Huron St, Northglenn, Colorado 80234
  3. Or you can text 'crossroadsabc' to 77977 for instructions on how to set up a gift.

It's simple, yet significant!

We love worshipping together! You can join in two ways: in-house and online.

For our in-house worship, we have opened up more seats at both our locations. If you'd like to join us in-house, please:

Pre-register at crossroadsabc.com/rsvp

Masks will be required for all people of all ages at our facilities, at all times. We are choosing to go above and beyond in order that we might love the vulnerable in our faith community well. Inside the worship spaces, we ask that you socially distance. If you are not feeling well, please stay at home.

Online we live stream every week at Crossroadsabc.live, Facebook, and YouTube. Services are 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 6pm. If you can't catch one of those service times. We are on-demand throughout the week on our YouTube channel.
