Keeping You in the Loop #48

Care Resiliency Program, Business Meeting, Toddlers and More!

by Pastor Matt Manning on February 04, 2021

Hello Crossroads!

It is Super Bowl week and if you're a Bronco fan we have a dilemma, don't we? For whom do we cheer?

I wish I had a good answer! However, as part of our MVP series, we are going to have some football fun this week! In the house will be special guest Larron Jackson bringing the message.

Larron was the starting guard for the Denver Broncos during the early 70s, blocking for Hall of Famer Floyd Little. In fact, Floyd's hall-of-fame picture has Larron as the lead blocker, paving the way. After his football career, Larron gave his life to helping the church. Over the last 10 years, Larron and I have built an amazing friendship. He is a mentor of mine, a great preacher, and I am super excited for him to be at Crossroads this week!

CARE RESILIENCY
In church, this weekend, you heard me speak about the special opportunity we have to come alongside St Anthony North and to participate in their Caregiver Resiliency program. Over the last couple of weeks, some of our students and their parents helped put together care packages. On Tuesday and Friday, we got to deliver them! Here are a few pics.

As part of this 5-month initiative, we are pledging our own support to folks at Crossroads who are a part of the health worker community. We want you to know how much we appreciate you and want to share our gratitude in tangible ways! We have care packages that will be available in the lobby at Thornton Campus at our Sunday service. If you can't make it on Sundays, you can also stop by our office to pick up your gift during the week. Office Hours are:

  • Thornton Campus, Monday & Wednesday 9am-12pm.
  • Northglenn Campus, Tuesday & Thursday 9am-12pm.

  • Ft. Lupton will be available for pick up only @ Sunday service.

Thank you for all that you do!

BUSINESS MEETING
Our second-quarter business meeting happened on Sunday, January 31. If you missed it you can check it out here.

All voted on items passed.

At the meeting, we spent a fair amount of time talking about the need for volunteers in several areas of ministry–greeters, digital media, production, crossroads live, children's, youth. If you are interested in serving please sign up here.

If there is an area of interest that you do not find on the form, please feel free to email .

TODDLERS ARE BACK!
Beginning February 7, Crossroads Kids will offer toddler classes at the 9 and 11am services for one and two-year-olds at Thornton. While masks will not be required for children under age 2, all temperatures will be checked upon entering the classroom. Please be sure to RSVP for services.

GENEROSITY
Thank you for your continued support of Crossroads Church. If you want to be a part of the mission of Crossroads through financial support, you can give in three ways:

  1. Crossroadsabc.com/give/

  2. If you prefer to give by check:
Crossroads Church, 10451 Huron St, Northglenn, Colorado 80234
  3. Or you can text 'crossroadsabc' to 77977 for instructions on how to set up a gift.

It's simple, yet significant!

LIVE WORSHIP
We love worshipping together! You can join in two ways: in-house and online.

For our in-house worship, we have opened up more seats at both our locations. If you'd like to join us in-house, please:

Pre-register at Crossroadsabc.com/rsvp

Masks will be required for all people of all ages at our facilities, at all times. We are choosing to go above and beyond in order that we might love the vulnerable in our faith community well. Inside the worship spaces, we ask that you socially distance. If you are not feeling well, please stay at home.

Online we live stream every week at Crossroadsabc.live, Facebook, and YouTube. Services are 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 6pm. If you can't catch one of those service times. We are on-demand throughout the week on our YouTube channel.
