Weekly Update

KEEPING YOU IN THE LOOP #64

by Pastor Matt Manning on May 28, 2021

Hi Crossroads!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Crossroads Annual Bike Ride Until Sunset. It was a great time of celebrating our graduating seniors, enjoying the Kona Ice (a personal favorite) and hanging out together as a church!

Here is your weekly update of Keeping You in the Loop.

A HUGE THANK YOU

I want to say a huge thank you to our incredible Community Group Leaders. These leaders have led through an incredibly difficult year and many even stepping up during the pandemic to lead for the very first time. Each and every one of our leaders has led with humility, grace, and patience. Thank you for your willingness to be used by God in shepherding people!

CSN Summer Nights

Changing times Sunday, June 6, 6:30-8:30pm
There is a time change coming for our weekly Student Sunday Gatherings. Starting in the month of June, we will be gathering from 6:30-8:30pm throughout the summer to give families some more time during the day together.

PARTY ON THE PATIO

Sunday, May 30, Between Services
Summer is here and this week we are going to party on the patio! Between services we will celebrate and remember Memorial Day. If you come to the 9am service plan to stay a little late, if you come to 11am come a bit early. It will be a great time to meet some new people, connect with some friends and hang as the church.

COMMUNITY GROUP 4D LIVING

Living out our faith in the context of real life.

Who is my neighbor?

Draw a set of four concentric circles. In the middle circle, write your name. In the next circle, write the names of those who are closest to you. In the next circle, put the name of people with whom you interact often. In the last circle, identify the groups of people in our culture who are marginalized.

These are your neighbors. How would you characterize your relationships with these people? How does the health of these relationships impact your relationship with God?

LIVING IN 4D

GENEROSITY

Thank you for your generous support of Crossroads Church. We support the movement of the gospel locally and globally. One of the Global Servants we support is John and Stephanie Sittner. Recently, we sat down to have a conversation with them about the outstanding mission work that they are involved in. You can check it out here.

We are making a difference around the globe for the Gospel! If you want to be a part of the mission of Crossroads through financial support, you can give in three ways:

It's simple yet significant.
